Arrived around 5:30, no wait, enjoyed a great bison steak and a beer. Despite a double dare, I passed on the Rocky Mountain Oysters. At the table, there was a binder of laminated of accounts of experiences people had on the Bozeman Trail. I recommend the unique atomsphere.
We arrived into Buffalo, WY a bit late (9:30) and we were looking for someplace to get decent vittles. Bozeman was actually set to close at 10 PM, so we were worried about the quality of food AND service.
We were pleasantly surprised! The food was fantastic and Julian (our Server) was outstanding! The Bison Burger I ordered was tremendously tasty. My wife ordered a bacon cheeseburger which also had blue cheese crumbles...she really enjoyed it as well. Add to these some steak fries and mixed veggies (perfectly seasoned)...some late meal. Additionally, the portions were very generous.
Just finished a great dinner. My wife and i both had filets which were very good. I would recommend this restaurant. Service was by a friendly staff.
Went on a Monday evening and it was fairly busy.wr were seated promptly and our server was quit getting to our table. Our food came out in a very timely manner.the food was hot, good quality and nice portion sizes. Fried cod was nicely battered and very crispy. Chicken Fried steak was tender and tasty. All the side dishes were good. Our server, Sophie was attentive but not overbearing. If I lived in the area it would be a once or twice a month visit.
Had the prime rib it was good, wife had the petite steak it was good. The soup was gelatinous, the Rocky Mountain Oysters were mediocre at best and way over cooked, the spinach appetizer was okay however the chips were stale overall I would give the food on a scale from 1 to 5 about a one and a half most of it seemed like store bought. The staff seemed very young and nice but not schooled very well and their jobs we waited for ice water we watched one waitress carry a plate of food over on her hand lifted up next to her face and her hair was on their food not cool I would overall give the staff on a scale from 1 to 5 maybe a 2. Overall I would definitely not go back to this restaurant the cleanliness was also not quite adequate the carpet looks like it needed to be cleaned a year ago and the temperature in the restaurant was definitely warmer than it should have been making the environment significantly more comfortable.
Highly recommend this place!
