Awesome place to get away. Quiet and cool. Nice for outdoor activities

If you're looking for a pool or other things to do, there are other campgrounds in the area, but they also cost around $10 more.

Pick a different place to camp! The guy has a trashy trailer park on all sides of the campground and the "Aquarium" is an old outdoor pool that looks like it has been vacant for decades. The owners keep their horses on the campground too, so the place smells like horse poop. The "campground" is literally a poor kept lot without fire rings or camper hookups or camping amenities. You might as well drive past the campground 10 miles and stay in the Big Horn National Forest... at least there is no fee instead of the $20 you spend there to camp in a trailer park. If you are looking for a great place to stay, go to the campground by the interstate! Owners are great, and the grounds are very well kept.

For what it was it was fine. Low price and great facilities (bathroom was perfect). A bit windy but it keeps the bugs down so that's a plus from me. Staff was plenty friendly too.

We only pulled in and tent camped for one night on our way through, and were gone by about 7am. We drove across the country and camped 5 nights in a row at 5 different places. It wasn't the most beautiful campground, and there are trailers adjacent to where you actually camp, but we really liked the owners - they were friendly and helpful in recommending a place to eat and get a beer in town. The bathrooms were immaculate and it was quiet and safe. After the miserable night we'd had at a very creepy, sketchy campground the night before, I was ready to sleep, and did so like a baby. They do have horses and mules, but we did not smell or hear them, and enjoyed petting the mules on our way out. I'm not sure I'd stay there for a few days because there's not a lot to do there, but it was perfectly suitable for our short, one-night stay. I would recommend it for that, and would stay again.
