We did the factory tour. Was worth the $5.00 per person. We were the only two this day. We received a personal tour and you could tell how much the guide was into the process of making wool into yarn. Factory tours are always fun and interesting.
Local wool! A little off the beaten path but still easy enough to find. They have a wide selection of wool, all made at their factory in the back. They even offer tours.
We had a fantastic experience at the mill! Our tour was very interesting and the young kids in our group were just fascinated. I don’t knit or anything, but it was incredible to see the process that the wool goes through from start to finish. They have some cute stuff in their retail area as well. We bought a great hat and can’t wait to wear it! If you are in Buffalo, this is a great thing to come see. It’s a family owned and operated business too, which is just fantastic!
This is a factory, but they have a retail store and will give plant tours of their yarn making process! Just one of many things to do while exploring the Buffalo, WY area!
