What a great place! Old fashioned and a great price and the best bed we've had on our entire trip! And a great way to meet new people. Very cozy and casual.
Such a great place to stay! The owners both work the front desk and are wonderfully friendly people. The cabin was adorable, and the room was clean. As a bonus, they make delicious lattes, which you can purchase on your way out of town.
To try and convey ones description of an experience to another is an effort in futility. Especially when it's to someone you've never met, which leaves room to question ones judgement regarding their preference of an enjoyable experience. That being said I hope that you will take a little on faith when I say that if you decide to visit Buffalo Wyoming you would be denying yourself one of the simplest pleasures in life if you choose to stay somewhere other than the Blue Gables Motel. To sum up my experience of the Blue Gables in one phrase while running the risk of sounding improbable it truly is "a home away from home".
Clean? Yes, but oh so shabby, worn and held together with hope and a prayer! Staff was sweet, though.
